In addition, he directly serves as the performance coach for Men’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Tennis. He then served as an Athletic Performance Intern here at the University of Portland before becoming an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Florida in 2012. Waller assisted with both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs and was part of the men’s run to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2013. He also oversaw all aspects of performance for the Gators’ Men’s Golf and Tennis programs. After his time in Gainesville, Waller went on to work as a Graduate Assistant at Stanford University. While completing his Masters of Arts in Kinesiology at San Jose State University, Waller directly assisted with the planning and execution of Stanford’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball performance plans, which had major success in his two year stint. From 2013-2015, Men’s Basketball made it to the Sweet 16 and won the NIT, while Women’s Basketball made it to the Final Four and Sweet 16 respectively.
