Griffin Waller was named Director of Sports Performance at the University of Portland in June of 2017. Waller oversees all aspects of sports performance for Portland’s 14 sports, ensuring every student-athlete receives the most comprehensive performance services to reach their athletic potential. In addition, he directly serves as the performance coach for Men’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Waller is a product of Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, where he was a 2011 honors graduate in Exercise and Sports Science and pitcher for the school's baseball program.
