Welcome to the IUSCA IQF Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. This is the highest level of qualification available within the performance sector. 

 

This course is designed for all those within sport seeking to advance into a leadership or management role. This is particularly of relevance to Strength & Conditioning Coaches and practitioners who are interested in moving into a Performance Director or Athletic Director type role.  

 

You will learn about all aspects of leadership and management, including key advice and actionable steps to implement within your day-to-day work. It will also provide a successful action plan for gaining employment within a leadership role. 

 

This course will provide the knowledge necessary to grow a sport performance department from the ground up or enhance an existing organization. It will also provide you with the resources you will need to organize and mentor an elite team of sports performance professionals. Lastly, this course will teach you how to effectively communicate with administrators, advocate for funding, unite different disciplines, and earn yourself a seat at the table.

This is an online, hybrid learning course, featuring on-demand course content along with live tutorials by George Greene, from Stony Brook University. 

This course is rated at Level 8 on the International Qualification Framework (IQF), which is equivalent to Doctorate level learning.

The anticipated duration of this course is approximately 48 guided learning hours (48 GLH), with approximately 100 hours of additional learning/assessment time. 

​

Satisfactory completion of the course will result in the candidate being awarded an IQF Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
