IUSCA IQF Classification
Level 6 (provisional). The advert describes leading S&C provision for Lightning Wheelchair Basketball and men’s and women’s basketball programmes while working alongside experienced coaches. Responsibility for programme delivery across named high-performance teams indicates substantive autonomy, although the graduate title and mentoring environment may limit delegated decisions. Full person-specification details should be checked before treating degree or certification criteria as employer requirements; none is confirmed in the accessible summary.
Associated IUSCA IQF Certification
IUSCA IQF Level 6 Accredited International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner (aISCP)
Salary and Role Alignment
Amber. The advertised £27,290 to £28,778 plus a 7.5% flexible-working allowance appears somewhat modest if the role carries independent Level 6 programme responsibility across three basketball environments. Structured mentoring, university pension and leave benefits improve the overall package, and the final assessment depends on the actual degree of supervision. Under the IUSCA IQF Role Classification & Salary Alignment methodology, this results in an Amber rating.
