The IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning is the highest certification available in S&C, prior to obtaining Accreditation. This is appropriate for high level practitioners working independently in specialised environments. The is a great option for those without an industry-specific degree.

About the Level 4
Welcome to the IUSCA IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning. This is an on-demand course, consisting of online modules and tutorials along with on-demand resources. Level 4 learning is a high level qualification for practitioners seeking to deliver specialised S&C services to teams, athletes, and the general population in fitness/gym settings. This course will cover the scientific underpinning for all aspects related to this independent delivery, and provide an opportunity for growth and development as a practitioner. The duration of this course is approximately 48 Guided Learning Hours (48 GLH), with significant independent study and and assessment, resulting in 128 Total Learning Hours (TLH).
Assessment for this course involves the completion of a comprehensive Portfolio of learning, including a documented 10 week training intervention, and recorded coaching session.

Satisfactory completion of the course will result in the candidate being awarded an IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning.

Why are IUSCA courses and qualifications right for me?Our IUSCA courses and qualifications offer something for everyone. No matter what your role or level of experience within sport science/S&C, you will find an appropriate course or qualification. This includes entry level certifications, such as the Level 2 in Strength and Conditioning, which is the required minimum standard to work in most industry settings, right through to full Accreditation and Master Accreditation, which is appropriate for those with extensive experience within the profession. There is also a range of professional development courses (CPD) covering key topics within S&C, which will help you remain at the top of your profession.

What do the IQF Levels relate to? How an I know the equivalent in my country?The IQF, or International Qualification Framework is a rating system to standardise courses, qualifications and levels of education throughout the S&C profession. This enables equivalences to be determined between awarding bodies and coutries. The IQF table showing some of the equivalent levels of education be found here.

Who designed the course content?All course content has been designed by experts within the field of S&C, sport science, or the relevent course discipline. Qualificaiton standards have been developed in collaboration with the IQF and the IUSCA Advisory Board. Specific courses may also feature expert live tutorial, such as the Training for Hypertophy in Sport course, which has live delivery by Brad Schoenfeld.
