Job Summary

Deliver individualised personal training with a particular speciality in strength and conditioning across sites throughout the UK. The practitioner will assess client goals, training history and physical capabilities and use this information to design appropriate strength, movement, conditioning and general physical-preparation programmes. Responsibilities include coaching one-to-one and small-group sessions, monitoring progress, adapting programmes and supporting safe progression over time. The role also includes maintaining accurate client records, providing appropriate training guidance and referring clients to other professionals where needs fall outside the practitioner's scope. This position is suited to an S&C-focused practitioner capable of working independently within clearly defined professional boundaries.

IUSCA IQF Classification

Level 4. The role involves independent delivery of strength and conditioning and personal training within a defined scope of practice. The practitioner is responsible for assessing client needs, designing and adapting individualised training programmes, coaching strength, movement and conditioning sessions, monitoring progress and making appropriate day-to-day programming decisions. The role requires greater autonomy and professional judgement than Level 2 instructor practice, while complex scientific assessment, multidisciplinary performance management and responsibility for advanced athlete outcomes remain outside the expected scope. No degree is required for the assessed Level 4 responsibilities.
