Attend training and match days, contributing to session plans and wider pathway programming under established performance staff. The club describes the arrangement as voluntary and provides an honorarium of unspecified value.
IUSCA IQF Classification
Level 4. An emerging practitioner designs and delivers U17 athletic-development sessions within established club standards and under the guidance of experienced coaches and the Pathways Performance Manager. The defined, supervised developmental scope is more consistent with Level 4 than autonomous Level 6 practice. Employer preferences include ASCA Level 1 and a relevant degree or current study; the degree is not necessary for IUSCA Level 4. The placement is intended to support completion of ASCA Level 2 accreditation hours.
Associated IUSCA IQF Certification
IUSCA IQF Level 4 Practitioner
Salary and Role Alignment
Grey. The club specifies a volunteer arrangement and an honorarium but does not disclose its amount or expected total hours, so financial alignment cannot be fully assessed. IUSCA Indicative Minimum Salary Benchmark: AUD $40 per hour as a paid-equivalent reference for supervised pathway S&C delivery, excluding any statutory entitlements that might apply to an employment relationship. The substantial training and match-day commitment warrants particular scrutiny of the effective compensation; ASCA course reimbursement and mentoring are additional development benefits.
