IUSCA IQF Classification

Level 4. Supports and implements rehabilitation, recovery and injury-prevention activity under the High Performance Manager and medical team, with defined responsibility for reporting, monitoring and assisting with athlete testing. The advert does not establish full autonomous ownership of the wider rehabilitation or S&C system. The employer lists a relevant Human Movement/Exercise/Sport Science degree and a qualified S&C coach as essential, alongside allied-health/manual-therapy capability and sports-trainer credentials; a mandatory degree is disproportionate to the assessed Level 4 scope. No named S&C certification body is specified.

Associated IUSCA IQF Certification

Salary and Role Alignment

Grey. No salary or contracted hours are disclosed, so salary alignment cannot be fully assessed. IUSCA Indicative Minimum Salary Benchmark: AUD $85,000 full-time equivalent plus superannuation, pro rata for agreed hours; for a genuinely casual arrangement, the applicable casual loading should be added. The benchmark recognises rehabilitation duties, multidisciplinary reporting, mandatory match attendance and the unusually broad academic and allied-health requirements. The degree requirement appears excessive for the advertised Level 4 autonomy.

IUSCA Alignment Statement

This role has been classified by IUSCA using publicly available information at the time of review and the published IQF Role Classification & Salary Alignment methodology. The IQF classification, salary alignment assessment and associated IUSCA IQF certification represent IUSCA's assessment of the advertised role. They do not alter or replace the employer's stated qualification, certification or eligibility requirements and do not imply employer endorsement, approval of, or affiliation with IUSCA. Vacancy information may change, and applicants should review and verify the original employer advert before applying.
