Introducing the IUSCA Job Board

A new standard for Strength and Conditioning jobs.

For years, some of the most persistent concerns within the Strength and Conditioning profession have centred around employment.

Practitioners regularly encounter vacancies with unclear responsibilities, inconsistent job titles, excessive qualification or experience requirements, poor salaries, and no salary information at all.

Today, the IUSCA is launching a new global S&C Job Board designed to help address these problems.

The IUSCA Job Board will advertise opportunities across Strength and Conditioning, physical preparation, sport science and related performance roles worldwide. Employers can submit vacancies directly, practitioners can bring opportunities to our attention, and the IUSCA will also identify relevant publicly advertised positions.

But this is more than a place to find jobs.

Every role independently classified

Every vacancy listed will be independently assessed against the IUSCA International Qualification Framework (IQF).

Rather than relying on job titles alone, classification considers the actual demands of the position, including scope of practice, autonomy, responsibility, decision-making, qualification and experience expectations, programme responsibility, leadership and complexity.

This means practitioners can more easily understand where a role sits within an international professional framework and whether its requirements are proportionate to the work being asked of them.

Bringing salary transparency to S&C

Salary is also considered in relation to the level and demands of each role.

Where remuneration is published, the IUSCA will provide a clear salary rating, helping practitioners interpret how the salary aligns with the responsibilities and requirements of the position.

And where an employer doesn't publish a salary, we won't simply ignore the vacancy.

The role can still be listed and classified, while the IUSCA provides an indicative minimum salary based on the level and demands of the position and relevant employment context.

This allows practitioners to see the opportunity while also seeing the professional benchmark against which it can be considered.

Improving the profession through transparency

The aim is not to dictate which jobs practitioners should take or which employment models organisations must use. Instead, we want to make more information available.

By independently classifying roles, benchmarking requirements and providing salary context, differences between positions become easier to identify, compare and critically evaluate.

Over time, we hope this contributes to clearer career pathways, more proportionate recruitment practices, greater salary transparency and higher professional standards across S&C worldwide.

Better jobs. Fairer recruitment. Clearer career progression. Higher professional standards.

The IUSCA Job Board is now live.
