IUSCA Webinar Series - Mental Toughness | A Strength Coach Perspective

We are pleased to announce the next free webinar in our series for the S&C and Sports Performance community.


Matt Nein, Assistant Director of Athletics - Coordinator of Sports Performance at Salisbury University, will be delivering a webinar on "Mental Toughness: A Strength Coaches Perspective". This event is brought to you by Teambuildr and will include a Q&A.


In his 18th year as the Assistant Director of Athletics & Recreation - Coordinator of Sports Performance at Salisbury University, Matt oversees the training programs of 21 varsity teams, three graduate assistants, and an intern and volunteer staff of 10. During his tenure, Matt has had the opportunity to work with 14 National Championship teams, eight individual National Championship athletes, and over 350 All-Americans. In 2018, Matt was named the NSCA's Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year after being a finalist in 2016 & 2017. Matt also serves on the NSCA Awards & Nominations Committee, founder and board member of the NSCA Lacrosse SIG and represent the NSCA on the USA Lacrosse Sports Science & Safety Committee. While not training athletes, Matt manages all indoor recreational facilities and serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Applied Health Physiology Department at Salisbury University.
