We are delighted to announce that the International Journal of Strength and Conditioning (IJSC) is now indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

The DOAJ is an indexing service that provides access to high quality, peer reviewed, open access journals. To be indexed within the DOAJ a journal must undergo a comprehensive review and meet strict criteria with regards to academic publication.

The inclusion within the DOAJ adds to the overall reach of the journal, which is already listed in Google Scholar and has the ROAD seal of approval, meaning that publication is in line with the actions of UNESCO for promoting Open Access to scientific resources.

This marks a major achievement for the IJSC and is a testament to the quality of the journal, which is now approaching it's second year of publication. The IJSC is unique in that it is 100% free to submit and publish, as well as being open-access. This is only possible due to the fantastic support of university partners and members of the IUSCA community.
