Ron McKeefery | Developing a Winning S&C Culture | mISCP Inauguration

We are delighted to announce the next free webinar in our 2022 series for the S&C and Sports Performance community.


Ron McKeefery, Head of Football Strength and Conditioning at UW Huskies will be delivering his mISCP Inauguration Presentation, titled "Developing a Winning Strength and Conditioning Culture". This will include a Q&A for live attendees.


Ron is Internationally recognized as a leader in the area of sports performance and development. Ron has twice been named Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year. Prior to becoming the Head of Football Strength and Conditioning at the University of Washington, Ron was the Assistant Athletics Director for Fresno State University, and previously served as a S&C Coach at both the Professional and Collegiate level, working with organizations such as the: Cincinnati Bengals (NFL), Kansas City Royals (MLB), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL).


Ron said, "I am honored to be part of the mISCP program and be recognised as a leader within the industry."


The Master International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner (mISCP) accreditation is the highest distinction available within S&C. Rated at Level 7 on the International Qualifications Framework (IQF), this master distinction is reserved for the most experienced and respected practitioners within the field of S&C and Sports Performance.


To be eligible for the mISCP Accreditation, practitioners must have: -

  • a minimum of 10 years' experience in a full-time position (or equivalent) in an S&C, Sports Performance, Sports Science, Researcher, Lecturer, Professor, etc., role.

  • collated a comprehensive Portfolio of experience, accomplishments, and evidence of continual professional development (CPD)

  • references available from two coaches/practitioners/administrators

Once they have met these minimum requirements, they will then be asked to present an open webinar for the IUSCA community, covering a topic of their choice.


A final component of the mISCP process is to then attend an online meeting with an IUSCA panel for a discussion regarding their philosophies and achievements.
